Non-Executive Director - Alexander
Feldman
Alex is the original founder of B2Bcast. His vision was to create a business that combines the impact of radio and television broadcast with the reach of the Internet in order to help companies communicate better. He realized that webcasting would change the nature of corporate and government communications from marketing to CEO Messages to training and investor relations. Alex's background is in international media. He's worked for three of the world's top five media companies: NBC Universal, News Corporation and Viacom. As Vice President of Affiliate Sales for CNBC Asia Pacific, Alex was responsible for distribution of CNBC's television channels and syndication of its programming throughout the Asia Pacific region. During his tenure there, CNBC's residential subscriber base grew by 21% to over 35 million and revenue grew by 17% despite the negative impact of SARS. At CCBN, Alex was the Managing Director for Europe. CCBN is a global leader in on-line investor relations, servicing over 70% of the Fortune 500. B2Bcast meanwhile can offer Asian clients distribution over the CCBN investor network, which reaches some 500,000 certified institutional and 50 million retail investors. Other media appointments include MTV, STAR TV and the Economist Intelligence Unit. Alex has also worked in government. From 1990-1993, he helped develop US trade policy when he served as Special Assistant to the US Assistant Secretary of Commerce for International Economic Policy. More recently, Alex has taken another public sector appointment and currently resides in Washington, D.C. Alex earned a BA in International Business Relations from the University of Pennsylvania. |
