APEC Secretariat Live Webcast Featuring Chilean President Ricardo Lagos

Singapore, 1 May 2004 - Business to Business Broadcasting Pte Ltd (B2Bcast) - in collaboration with ACT Teleconferencing Singapore Pte Ltd - has produced a live audio webcast of Chilean President Ricardo Lagos.

Speaking at the APEC Secretariat in Singapore on 1 May 2004, Lagos discusses the growing links between Chile and Asia as well as Chile's plans for APEC 2004. The Republic of Chile is the APEC 2004 host economy. Seven Ministerial Meetings and a number of Senior Officials and Working Group level meetings will be held in Chile this year. During a question and answer period with the media, Lagos also discusses plans for his country's mining sector.
